Female Finance – Basic Financial Knowledge for Women

In celebration of International Women’s Day, we have organized an interactive workshop, Female Finance – Basic Financial Knowledge for Women.
About the workshop:
Vera Haberfellner, Financial Consultant spezializing in sustainable investments, will give a talk and invite you to ask questions. The workshop is free and open to all (in English). The focus will be on the financial gender and pension gap.
A good financial knowledge and understanding is essential to live an independent, self-determined life. This topic is particularly important for women because their working lives are often affected by interruptions due to parental leave. In two hours, you will learn about wages, taxes, social security contributions, inflation, as well as financial issues related to parental leave and part-time work. Basically, everything we were not taught in school and have to figure out for ourselves!
The workshop will take place at ECML, the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe.
We also have a reservation for 20:30 at Kunsthauscafe (Südtirolerplatz 2) for those who want to continue the conversation after the workshop or join us for a drink.
