DESCRIPTION:Join this inspiring Lean In workshop organized as part of the Frauen*März activities. \nSara C. invites you to join this open forum to both learn and share strategies that we can use to counteract the negative effects that ‘othering’ and bias have on our lives and to encourage intercultural respect in Graz. Individuals and organization representatives are especially invited to share stories of how they are actively working in their communities in Graz to counteract the noticeably increasing ‘othering’ trend. \nThis event will feature a brief presentation\, a video introduction to typical forms of bias from the Lean In organization\, a World Café to encourage idea exchange and discussion\, an interactive activity to specifically target bias in the workplace\, and empower participants to make a positive impact in their communities. Helpful brochures for local agencies and organizations providing support in cases of discrimination will be provided. \nWhether you are passionate about women’s empowerment\, human rights\, or simply enjoy meeting international members from the community\, this event is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals.
