SUMMARY:IWA Winter Walk
DESCRIPTION:In 2025 the IWA was a proud supporter of the Jukus Verein‘s Pro Aktiv project and organized monthly events that encouraged our members to get out\, meet\, and move! \nThe project has (officially) ended\, but our goal to support fitness remains the same. This month\, we invite you to join Lisa from Jukus and Sara from the IWA on a winter walk along the west side of the Mur River to the Kalvarienberg. Partners\, family members\, and friends are warmly invited to join this activity! \nWe’ll meet at the Keplerbrücke (bus stop)\, cross the Mur River\, and walk north on the west side of the river. Along the way\, we’ll make some short stops at the “tea house” (community garden)\, a calisthenics facility\, view Kalvarienberg\, and do some gentle breathing exercises near the water. \nWhen: Wednesday\, February 4\, 12 – 2 PM \nWhere: Meet before 12 PM at the Keplerbrücke (bus stop) \nGoogle maps link \nTo help Sara plan this activity\, please sign up by Feb. 2 and let us know if you will come alone or with friends/family members.

DESCRIPTION:Let’s go on a Walkabout for a stroll between Rosenhain and Mariagrun on a Sunday morning! \nPlease note the date has been changed due to the cold and icy weather: the stroll will take place on Feb 23rd! \nWe will meet up at Keplerbrucke Bus Stop at 10am sharp and Catch the #58 Bus to Mariagrun to Liebgasse and walk up to Cafe Rosenhain for a quick cuppa or brunch\, whatever the consensus (majority rules) and then cotinue on. \nThis walk requires a medium finess level and is suitable for buggies & prams. \nWe may end up walking to Purberg by Hilmteich for lunch or afternoon tea. depending. \nSpouses\, children and canine friends are welcome!
