DESCRIPTION:For our September Coffee Morning we will be meeting at Die Scherbe just south of the Lendplatz. Die Scherbe (translated: the shard) is described as an interesting place with special charm. Die Scherbe offers an international menu and is known for their breakfasts. If the weather permits we will sit in the garden. \nHow to get there: \nBy public transportation: \nfrom the HAUPTPLATZ or JAKOMIPLATZ take tram 1\, 3\, 6\, or 7 toward the train station. Get out at Rosseggerhaus. The bus stop for the bus is around the corner. Take bus 40 or bus 67 from Rosseggerhaus to stop Volksgartenstrasse. Walk to the Lendplatz\, walk straight past the market and follow the road to the right around the market. At the end of the Lendplatz this street turns into Stockergasse. Die Scherbe is on the left side of the street. \nBy car: \npark in the blue zone at the Lendplatz – the maximum parking time at the Lendplatz is 90 minutes\, or park in the blue zone in one of the side streets. \nBy bike: \nride north along the river from the Südtirolerplatz/Hauptbrücke. Turn left into Fellingergasse\, at the next corner turn left into Lendplatz/Stockergasse. Die Scherbe is on your left.
