DESCRIPTION:In 2025 the IWA was a proud supporter of the Jukus Verein‘s Pro Aktiv project and organized monthly events that encouraged our members to get out\, meet\, and move! \nThe project has (officially) ended\, but our goal to support fitness remains the same. This month\, we invite you to join Lisa from Jukus and Sara from the IWA on a winter walk along the west side of the Mur River to the Kalvarienberg. Partners\, family members\, and friends are warmly invited to join this activity! \nWe’ll meet at the Keplerbrücke (bus stop)\, cross the Mur River\, and walk north on the west side of the river. Along the way\, we’ll make some short stops at the “tea house” (community garden)\, a calisthenics facility\, view Kalvarienberg\, and do some gentle breathing exercises near the water. \nWhen: Wednesday\, February 4\, 12 – 2 PM \nWhere: Meet before 12 PM at the Keplerbrücke (bus stop) \nGoogle maps link \nTo help Sara plan this activity\, please sign up by Feb. 2 and let us know if you will come alone or with friends/family members.

For easier communication\, we recommend getting in touch with Anna via the Whatsapp group or contact a Board member to be put in touch. \n  \nThis week we will meet up at the “Winterspielraum” at the Graz Museum (the one which is actually on Schlossberg not the one in the city).  They have a soft-play area which has lockers and a bathroom. The visit is free and open to children until age 8. Bring anti-slip socks with you! \nHow to get there: \nThe indoor play area is on the Schlossberg more or less between the hill-top entrace to the funicular and the aiola restaurant. To get there you can take the funicular (which included if you have a Klimaticket or other time-ticket for Graz).
