Activity: Excursion to Stift Rein

Join us on an excursion to Stift Rein, right on the doorstep of Graz, only 30 min drive or bus away.
Celebrating 900 years in 2022, the oldest Cistercian Monastery in the world is an imposing historic structure with a beautiful baroque basilika, recently restored to all its glory.
We are planning the following activities, you can join flexibly or participate in the entire day, see sign-up page:
10:00 to 11:45
Hike in the hills behind the monastery – from very flat (good for strollers) to uphill, several options are available. If you prefer a different activity, there is also a self-pick strawberry field right in front of the Stiftstaverne, open in good weather (open from 8:00 to 19:00).
12:00 to 14:00
Lunch in the Stiftstaverne. The historic building is right by the monastery.
14:00 to 15:45

The historic Stiftstaverne Rein offers delicious typical Austrian fare using local produce for reasonable prices and has a beautiful garden with a big playground for children.
